Session Times
We are open during school term-time, 9am- 3pm Monday to Friday. Our term dates can be found under the 'school information' tab as we follow the same dates as Fenstanton and Hilton Primary School.
Morning session 9am-12
Morning + Lunch 9am-1pm
Afternoon session 12- 3pm
All day 9am-3pm
We deliver our main pre-school programme during the morning and afternoon sessions. These sessions are for children from the age of three years up until they leave us for primary school.
Fees
We have always ensured our charges are competitive whilst enabling us to provide quality care. Our current fees are £5.40 per hour for children over 3 years old. We review our fees annually.
We invoice for the whole term at the beginning of the term and parents have the option to pay in full or in instalments.
We accept most childcare vouchers which are issued through your employer.
A late charge is implemented for persistent late collection of £1 a minute.
Free Entitlement
The government funded 3 year old Free Entitlement can be used at Fenstanton Pre-School.
All children are eligible from the term following their 3rd birthday, up until they go to primary school. Each child is entitled to 570 hours (15 hours a week) of free Nursery Education per year, increasing to 1,140 hours (30 hours a week) for working parents meeting certain criteria. These hours can be used at any time throughout the year. Further information can be found at this link
Early Years Pupil Premium
The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) is additional funding for early years settings to improve the education they provide for disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-olds. We are mindful of the need to ensure that EYPP funding is used to focus on the individual needs of eligible children and their families.
